The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced full time Senior Software Developer to join our global home-based remote teams. This is the perfect opportunity for experienced software engineers with an entrepreneurial spirit to build best in class APIs and innovative web/mobile applications for two-sided market platforms that users love and will disrupt the AEC industry with AI based automation.
What will you do:
- Rapidly grasp problems and apply industry-standard technologies towards the solution
- Interprets customer/users needs and user stories in order to code and develop programs that results in positive outcomes
- Takes ownership of customer problems, works diligently to solve those and measure success both quantitatively and qualitatively.
- Responsible for analysis, design, estimation, code, automated test, deploy and maintain of well architected systems that is continuously improved to delivered increasing value to user
- Develop effective technical and user documentation that will facilitate support for developed solutions
- Inspires and motivates team members to set high standards of excellence and commitment to a common goal
- Works on a small team, in an agile development environment, keeping the team up to date on progress, workflow, and blockers
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, information systems, or related experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development.
- 4+ years of experience with Python using Django/Flask/FastAPI required
- Experienced SQL and database design using RDBMS, PostgreSQL preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based platforms, GCP technologies preferred.
- Has experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git & any CI/CD tools
- UI development using Angular or Flutter is nice to have.
- Experience working in an Agile- or Scrum-based environment
- Desire to work on a platform that is relentlessly customer focused at early stage startup
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and a strong work ethic.
- A self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
