The department of Veterans needed a replacement of their inventory System with information from network operational data; vendor database integrated with the system and cross functional teams in the organization. The challenge was to involve multiple data sources to be absorbed into the new system with high reliability, cost efficiency and high performance.

The current inventory only captured 60% of the inventory and was a unreliable platform of the truth.

• Implemented CI/CD pipelines across 32+ database projects, dramatically reducing bug rates and ensuring consistent, error-free releases
• Deployed Microsoft Fabric to unify ingestion, lakehouse transformations, and Power BI reporting, cutting data duplication and accelerating time-to-insight
• Rearchitected underperforming database zones with optimized data models and indexing strategies; established ETL/ELT standards enforcing high-quality, analytics-ready data

The department of the Interior wanted to streamline process for a complex harvesting process to a commodity exchange to negotiate cross functional applications and simplify a process united in one application for everybody involved in the process. Many data sources were only available as spreadsheets and in some cases on paper reports.

• Replaced a full 2TB truncate-and-load ETL with a Medallion-based incremental ELT model, slashing processing time from 8–9 hours to under 15 minutes
• Architected Azure Synapse + ADLS2 medallion solution enabling near real-time data access for stakeholders and accelerating ML model training cycles
• Automated analytics pipelines via AWS Redshift, Glue, and Lambda; delivered compliance reporting to Congress on mandated intervals
