Maicol Montoya

Hello! I am Maicol Montoya, a passionate and dedicated Software Engineering student specializing in innovative software design and efficient system development. My journey in the field extends beyond academics, as I've gained hands-on experience as a backend developer at MoodStudio, where I contribute to developing robust and scalable solutions.

I work on designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based backend applications and have hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies, RESTful web services, Spring Boot, and Sockets. Additionally, I have extensive knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, Git, REST API, and AWS.

I constantly seek opportunities to apply my technical knowledge, enhance my skills, and collaborate with like-minded professionals. My goal is to grow continuously in software engineering, driven by a passion for technology and teamwork. I have work experience at the company Mood Studios as a backend developer in the Java language where the respective logics for an MMORTS game were created and structured.

I am currently pursuing a professional degree in Software Engineering at Alexander Von Humboldt University.
