Optimize the flow of goods and materials towards, within and from 3 plants (2 Free-trade Zone) through collaborative and data-driven strategies achieving cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

• We transformed a company that was losing money with every product it sold, into a double-digit EBITDA company. We achieved 2 consecutive year global awards for our financial result improvements.
• I increased the service of the company measured by On Time In Full OTIF (from 50% to 98%), availability of products (from 60% to 96%) and process lead time (reduced in 60%). I achieved a double-digit reduction in the most impacting costs: inventory (22%), freight (19%), warehouses (35%), and forklifts (56%).
• I implemented successful lean techniques, coaching and leadership training programs that have given us continuous improvements and an employee satisfaction over the Colombian and Latin America score.

• I led the project of moving to a new plant. From the search of property, requirements identification, design, construction, legal approvals, etc. until the start up. It facilitated access from our customers.
• For 7 consecutive months I achieved sales targets through service and inventory strategies.
• I implemented standardized processes, tools and controls that improved sales order fulfilment and procurement of materials.

Optimize the flow of goods and materials within and from 4 plants (7 warehouses) through collaborative and data-driven strategies achieving cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

• With the Key Customers, I improved the service level, changing its perception from “low performer supplier” to “Certified supplier”. Avoiding their loss, eliminating penalties and increasing their sales by 5%.
• I reduced the inventory in 3.5 million USD without affect the service, through planning parameters, inventory policies and controls.
• I improved the sales performance by a daily monitoring and control of productions, dispatches and sales order approval.

• Implementing Lean Tools and Techniques we increased the plant productivity by 20%, promoted a culture of continuous improvement, created several general improvements (e.g. lead times reduction for materials receiving from days to hours, the inventory accuracy increased to 98%).
• I reduced the customs lead time from 30 days on average to 12 days for LCL shipments. This reduction allowed the company to increase customer punctuality and decrease inventories levels.
• I reduced local transport cost by 50% through new negotiations and shipments consolidation.
• I reduced the inventory level from 7 to 3 months on hand without compromise the customer service level.
• I successfully implemented SAP in a short period of time.
