DevOps Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB The professional will play a critical role in designing, managing, and scaling cloud infrastructure and DevOps operations on AWS using modern automation, containerization, and orchestration tools. This individual will work closely with engineering teams to ensure platforms and services are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. A strong ability to identify and drive process improvements, automate workflows, and influence engineering best practices is essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure and cloud resources.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting scalable service delivery.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Work on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administer and configure HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and secure workflows.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to introduce new technologies and improve design practices.
• Contribute to infrastructure migration initiatives and environment modernization.
• Provide support for production environments, including on-call responsibilities as required by the team.
• Ensure best practices in security, monitoring, and reliability across the DevOps ecosystem.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on DevOps.
• Deep proficiency with AWS cloud services and operations.
• Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Solid knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, and tooling.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker and container lifecycle management.
• Practical experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Experience configuring and managing HashiCorp Vault.
• Demonstrated ability to self-learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and automation issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.
