Mid-Level PHP Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking Mid-Level PHP Developers to join our team on a 12-month project. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the backend of a modern web application, writing clean, testable code, and integrating with various third-party services. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Lead and other team members to deliver high-quality features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain server-side application logic using modern PHP frameworks (Laravel or Symfony).
• Design and build robust RESTful APIs for frontend consumption.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
• Collaborate on database schema design and optimization with a focus on relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for version control (Git).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues in existing applications.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong proficiency in modern PHP frameworks (Laravel or Symfony is a must).
• Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and SQL optimization.
• Proficient with version control (Git).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest, etc.).
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
