Python Full Stack Developer

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python-focused Full Stack Developer to join our team. Our ideal candidate would have 5+ years of hands-on Developer experience with exposure to ETL pipeline integration knowledge. In this role, you will serve as both a builder and keeper of our Windows-based technology stack — spanning modern web applications, Python-powered back-ends, and high-performance SQL Server databases — ensuring our platforms are robust, scalable, and tightly aligned with the firm's trading and operational objectives.

You will partner closely with Investment, Risk, and Operations teams to design and deliver data pipelines, automate critical workflows, and build full-stack tools that directly influence portfolio management and trading decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

Undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering required.

Master’s degree in engineering or computer science preferred but not required.

Highly proficient in Python, with 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering production-quality solutions

Highly proficient in SQL, with 3+ years of experience designing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance databases (any prior experience with relational database)

Data engineering mindset—skilled at building, automating, and maintaining robust data pipelines and workflows

Prior experience with web technologies (including ReactJS and modern frameworks), with 2+ years building impactful, user-centric applications

Strong interest in finance and a genuine desire to learn the inner workings of the hedge fund industry A self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership—able to independently drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems with creativity and resourcefulness

Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to collaborate across disciplines

Preffered Skills & Experience

Prior experience with C++ would be helpful in developing and maintaining quantitative libraries

Prior experience with C# would be helpful in maintaining FIX Engine

Key Responsabilties Own and Evolve Our Tech Stack: Take charge of our Windows-based platforms, from modern web applications, robust Python back-ends to high-performance SQL Server databases.

Integrate and Automate: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to support trading, risk, and operational analytics and develop workflows for seamless data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across internal and external systems.

Production Support: Be the guardian of stability—proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to keep mission-critical systems running flawlessly.

Drive Business Outcomes: Collaborate with investment, risk, and operations teams to deliver tools that directly influence trading and portfolio management.

Full-Stack Development: Build and enhance web applications using Python Flask and front-end frameworks (ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

Financial Systems Mastery: Support and extend our proprietary order management system, FIX engine, and Advent Geneva integrations.

Innovate: Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives that push our technology—and the business—forward.
