Student of the Computer Science degree in multimedia technology, I have dedicated myself since the culmination of my degree to quality testing of video games.
My role involves various responsibilities and key activities to ensure the final product's quality by applying different testing methods to achieve these objectives.
Compatibility Testing: Ensure the game works correctly on different platforms (PC, consoles, mobile devices) and hardware configurations.
Localization Testing: Test the localized version of the game (translations, cultural adjustments) to ensure that there are no errors and that the text is coherent and understandable.
Performance Tests: Evaluate game performance, including loading speed, graphics fluidity, and frame rate stability (FPS).
Usability Testing: Evaluate the usability of the game from the player's perspective, ensuring that the user interface is intuitive and accessible.
Integration Testing: Verify that all game components (graphics, sound, physics, network, etc.) work correctly when integrated.
Error Reporting: Document and report in detail any errors or problems found during testing, using specific error management systems.
Regression Testing: Perform repeated testing after bugs have been fixed to ensure that the fixes have not introduced new problems.
Participation in Feedback Sessions: Test new features and provide useful and constructive feedback to developers to improve the overall quality of the game.
