We are looking for a Java Developer to build and maintain payment provider integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services in Java for payment provider integrations
- Implement and support integrations with external PSPs, banks, and payment methods
- Work with an existing platform and codebase, following established architectural and coding standards
- Collaborate closely with product, QA, and frontend team to ensure reliable payment flows
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall code quality and stability
- Gradually take part in onboarding new developers once fully immersed in the team and domain
- Suggest and implement technical improvements related to integrations, stability, and maintainability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in Java development (11 ) and Spring Boot
- Experience working with external APIs and third-party integrations
- Understanding of RESTful services, HTTP, and common integration patterns
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle is a plus)
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- English — required (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fintech, payments, or high-load systems
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
