Senior Java Engineer

Spotware Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in our office in Limassol. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies. You will be communicating with the Product Manager, Client-Side Developers, DevOps and the DBA team.This is an on-site, office-based role located in Limassol, Cyprus.Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applications, components, and services.

Collaborating with architects and technical leads to define software architecture and design patterns.

Working closely with QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of software deliverables.

Clear specifications and requirements will be provided to you by the Product Manager and there will be strict plans and sometimes deadlines to follow.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a Java Developer.

Solid experience with unit testing.

Strong J2SE programming skills.

Multi-threading (Executors, locks).

Understanding of Collections framework and its pitfalls.

Experience with Spring Web and Spring IoC.

Experience in TCP/IP networking and sockets programming (Netty nice to have).

Strong experience with SQL.

Skills in a high performance and low latency environments

Strong analytical skills required to solve complicated technical problems.

Fluency in Russian and B1+ in English language.
