Role: Java Application Developer
Location: Prague (remote)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Key Requirements
Expert Java 8+ development with strong Object-Oriented Design & DevelopmentStrong experience with Microservices, Spring Boot, Java EE, JPA/Hibernate
Front-end knowledge of JSP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Experience with Maven, Git and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bamboo
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML and database technologies
Experience with JMS / Message Queues; Kafka is preferred
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Basic-to-good SQL skills
Experience with Apache POI for Excel/XLS processing
Familiarity with JIRA and issue tracking tools
Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
Exposure to AI-based coding assistants is a plus
