We are supporting a well-established, international industrial group as they appoint a Global Accounting Controller to play a key role in the ongoing transformation of the finance function.

This role will suit an experienced accounting leader who enjoys combining hands-on delivery with modernisation, improving processes, data quality, and the speed and reliability of month- and year-end close, while maintaining strong financial control.

The Role:

Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Global Accounting Controller will take ownership of global accounting operations across multiple entities, with a clear mandate to enhance how accounting is performed across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

Ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual close processes

Driving improvements in close timing, quality and predictability

Strengthening balance sheet controls, reconciliations and governance

Leading process standardisation, documentation and automation initiatives

Improving data quality and system-driven accounting outcomes

Acting as a key contributor to the wider finance transformation agenda

Your Profile:

Senior accounting professional with experience in international or group environments

Strong technical accounting and control background

Proven track record in improving accounting processes and close cycles

Comfortable leading change while maintaining operational stability

Structured, pragmatic and delivery-focused leadership style
