  • *About The Role**
We are seeking a responsible and dedicated SAP-HCM Consultant and Developer to join our team at RBB. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the analysis, conception, implementation, and ongoing support of SAP-HCM applications, covering functions from payroll to time management. The role involves customizing SAP HCM modules, developing ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces, and providing solution-oriented consulting to our internal clients. You will be instrumental in supporting our SAP-HCM landscape, especially during the ongoing transformation to SAP H4S4, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The position offers the flexibility of working from Munich as the preferred location, with options for other IVZ sites in Cologne, Leipzig, Potsdam, or Hamburg, as well as remote work arrangements. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic public broadcasting environment.
  • *Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in fields such as Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable IT qualification, complemented by extensive professional experience.

Key qualifications include

  • Strong expertise in SAP development, particularly ABAP/4 and ABAP Object-Oriented programming.
  • Proven experience in customizing SAP HCM modules, especially Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (PT), Organizational Management (OM), and Payroll (PY).
  • Experience with SAP HCM under S/4HANA / H4S4, including migration projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implement them successfully.
  • Fluent German language skills at a minimum of C1 level.
Additionally, a proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team are essential for success in this role.
  • *Responsibilities**
The responsibilities of this role encompass a broad range of tasks aimed at maintaining and enhancing RBB’s SAP-HCM environment:
  • Technical and functional support of SAP-HCM applications, including payroll, time management, and personnel administration.
  • Conducting system customizations in relevant HCM modules to align with organizational needs.
  • Developing ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces to optimize system functionality and data exchange.
  • Engaging in active consultation with HR and other business units to analyze requirements and develop sustainable, practical solutions.
  • Participating in projects related to SAP H4S4 transformation, contributing your expertise to ensure smooth migration and integration processes.
  • Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system improvements to ensure high availability and performance of SAP-HCM systems.
  • Staying updated on SAP developments and best practices, and proactively recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.
