About The Role

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated SAP HCM Consultant and Developer to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to oversee and enhance our SAP-HCM applications, which include modules such as payroll, time management, personnel administration, organizational management, and personnel development. The successful candidate will analyze, design, implement, and maintain these systems to ensure they meet organizational needs efficiently.

Location-wise, Munich is preferred; however, we also welcome applications from other IVZ locations such as Cologne, Leipzig, Potsdam, or Hamburg. Remote work arrangements are also considered to accommodate flexible working preferences.

In this role, you will be instrumental in customizing SAP HCM modules, developing ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces, and providing expert advice to internal stakeholders. You will actively participate in projects, especially those related to the transition to SAP S/4HANA/H4S4, contributing your expertise to ensure smooth migration and system optimization. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of HR processes and data management within our organization, supporting RBB’s mission to deliver high-quality broadcasting services.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable IT-related qualification, complemented by extensive professional experience. Proven expertise in SAP development, particularly ABAP/4 and ABAP Object-Oriented programming, is essential.

Experience with SAP HCM modules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (PT), Organizational Management (OM), and Personnel Development (PY) is required. Familiarity with SAP HCM under S/4HANA/H4S4 or migration projects to these systems is highly advantageous.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with users and clients. The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and to implement these solutions successfully is critical. Fluency in German at a minimum C1 level is necessary to ensure clear communication within the organization and with external partners.

Responsibilities

As an SAP HCM Consultant and Developer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Analyzing, designing, and maintaining SAP-HCM applications, including payroll and time management modules.
  • Performing customizing activities within relevant HCM modules to tailor solutions to organizational needs.
  • Developing ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces to enhance system functionality and integration.
  • Providing technical and functional consulting to internal departments, understanding their requirements, and proposing sustainable solutions.
  • Participating actively in projects, especially those related to the migration and transformation to SAP S/4HANA/H4S4 platforms.
  • Ensuring system stability, data accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Supporting end-users through training, documentation, and ongoing technical support.
