About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Backend-Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) to join our team in full-time employment. In this role, you will be instrumental in modernizing our proven ERP application, implementing customer-specific requirements, and developing new functionalities that enhance our software's capabilities. Your expertise will contribute to analyzing, designing, developing, and testing new modules and features, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and external interfaces.

You will work closely with our internal ERP team and external partners to support the deployment of new features and facilitate smooth release transitions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where innovative solutions are developed to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a relevant educational background, such as an apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung (m/w/d), a university degree, or an equivalent qualification. Proven experience in backend development, particularly with Spring Boot, is essential. You should have solid knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages.

Familiarity with frontend technologies like Angular or reporting tools such as Jasper Reports is advantageous. A strong understanding of clean coding principles, structured processes, and sustainable software architecture is required. Additionally, the ability to work effectively within a team, as well as independently driving projects forward, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and enhance our existing ERP application to meet current technological standards and user expectations.
• Implement and adapt customer-specific requirements within our ERP system, ensuring tailored solutions.
• Analyze business needs, conceive, design, develop, and rigorously test new functionalities and modules.
• Create and integrate interfaces for seamless communication with customers and suppliers.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing applications to enhance performance, usability, and security.
• Provide technical support during the rollout of new features and major release updates, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality software solutions.
