About The Role We are seeking a skilled PHP-/Backend-Entwickler:in (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team in Neustadt am Rübenberge. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate backend developer with a strong logical mindset to contribute to the development and enhancement of our digital products.

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing backend processes, APIs, and logical frameworks that form the backbone of our solutions. Your expertise will support the continuous evolution of our products, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with the latest technological standards. Collaboration with product owners and cross-functional teams will be key, as you provide technical insights to shape product development and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• A completed degree or vocational training in computer science or a comparable relevant field.
• Exceptional PHP/backend skills supported by professional experience in software development.
• Experience with NEOS CMS is desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of app development processes is advantageous.
• Strong logical thinking and the ability to recognize complex relationships and potential pitfalls.
• Passion for high-quality, robust coding and product development.
• Excellent command of the German language (minimum C2 level).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend processes, APIs, and logical components for our digital products, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Engage in constructive discussions with Product Owners to understand customer needs and advise on feasible technical solutions for product enhancements.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, integrating them into our development processes to keep our products at the forefront of innovation.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver seamless digital solutions.
• Support and contribute to the improvement of internal development workflows and best practices.
