About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Backend Software Developer (m/w/d) to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will play a vital part in the ongoing modernization of our proven ERP application, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop, implement, and test new features and modules tailored to our clients' needs. You will analyze, design, and optimize existing functionalities, as well as create and integrate interfaces with customers and suppliers. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects that involve both technical innovation and practical application, contributing significantly to the success and evolution of our ERP solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a relevant educational background such as an apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung (m/w/d), a university degree, or an equivalent qualification. You should have solid experience in backend development, particularly with Spring Boot framework, and proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages.

Knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or experience with Jasper Reports is advantageous. A strong understanding of clean coding principles, structured development processes, and sustainable software architecture is essential. Additionally, we value candidates who enjoy teamwork but are also capable of independently driving projects forward.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and enhance our established ERP application to meet current technological standards and user expectations.
• Participate in the analysis, conceptualization, design, development, and testing of new functionalities and modules.
• Develop and implement interfaces for seamless communication with clients and suppliers.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support during the rollout of new features and during release transitions.
• Collaborate closely with the internal ERP team and external partners to ensure project success and alignment.
