About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Backend Software Developer (m/w/d) to join our team in full-time employment. In this role, you will play a critical part in the ongoing modernization and enhancement of our proven ERP systems.

Your responsibilities will include implementing new features, customizing solutions to meet specific client requirements, and ensuring the smooth integration of interfaces with external partners such as suppliers and customers. You will work closely with our internal ERP team and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a relevant educational background, such as an apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker for application development, a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification. You should have solid experience in backend development, particularly with Spring Boot, and proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages. Knowledge of frontend technologies like Angular and experience with Jasper Reports are advantageous but not mandatory.

A strong understanding of clean coding practices, structured development processes, and sustainable software architecture is essential. Additionally, we value candidates who enjoy teamwork but can also work independently to drive projects forward effectively.

Responsibilities

• Modernize our established ERP applications to improve performance, usability, and scalability.
• Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of new functionalities tailored to customer needs.
• Develop, test, and deploy new modules and features within the ERP system.
• Create and integrate interfaces for seamless communication with clients, suppliers, and third-party systems.
• Continuously improve existing applications through optimization and refactoring.
• Provide technical support during the rollout of new features and system upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.
