The Role
- Develop and enhance USER.ID, a key product within the central publishing platform
- Design, implement, and optimise microservice architecture in an AWS-based Kubernetes environment
- Work within an agile, cross-functional team, actively contributing technical expertise
- Take on technical coordination tasks within and across teams
- Participate in rebuilding and evolving significant parts of the publishing platform
- Share knowledge and mentor junior developers
What You'll Need
- Completed degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with Java / Java EE
- Deep understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, and proficient use of JWT
- Practical experience with identity providers like Keycloak (integration & operation)
- Strong knowledge in designing and operating microservices and best-practice software architecture
- Proficient in relational databases, REST APIs (OpenAPI), Kubernetes, Kibana, and Grafana
- Experience with unit and integration tests (e.g., JUnit 5, Mockito, Spring Tests)
- Conversational German and good English skills
