Cloud Database Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design, build, and operate PostgreSQL database services on Kubernetes
• Automate rollout and operations using GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Collaborate closely with the Managed Kubernetes team for optimal integration
• Plan and implement updates, security patches, and new product versions
• Expand and optimize additional database services on cloud platforms

What You'll Need

• Completed IT education or degree (e.g., IT specialist for system integration, computer science, cloud computing)
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and Kubernetes
• Initial experience with PostgreSQL HA solutions
• Passion and enthusiasm for Linux and OpenStack
• Very good German and English language skills
• Team player with initiative and a structured working approach
