About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) to join our client's innovative team in Munich. This role is pivotal in managing, optimizing, and expanding the company's Azure-based cloud services. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, enhancing cloud architecture for scalability and security, and collaborating closely with product development and support teams to resolve technical issues.

Additionally, the Cloud Engineer will support customers with cloud deployments, access models, and integration scenarios, contributing to architectural decisions, security protocols, and operational improvements. Qualifications The ideal candidate does not need to meet all the listed requirements but should be enthusiastic about learning and developing their skills. A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a similar field is preferred. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, especially those with initial cloud experience. Technical knowledge should include familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, Networking, and Identity management.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools is essential. Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, and optionally Kubernetes/AKS, is advantageous. Candidates should also have experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights, as well as understanding of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, JSON, and microservice architectures.

Experience with SAP-related integration scenarios involving Jira, Git, ServiceNow, or SAP Cloud ALM is a plus. A basic understanding of IT security, certificates, networking, and automation is desirable. Strong organizational skills, a responsible work ethic, and a willingness to learn are key attributes. Fluency in German (C1+) for internal coordination and good English skills (B2–C1) for technical documentation and customer communication are required.

Responsibilities The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and continuous development of the company's Azure-based cloud services. This includes building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes. The role involves enhancing the cloud architecture to improve scalability, security, and automation, ensuring the platform remains robust and future-proof.

The engineer will collaborate with product development teams to resolve technical issues, support customers with cloud deployments, and facilitate access models and integration scenarios. Contributing to architectural decisions, security strategies, and operational optimizations forms a core part of the responsibilities. Regular monitoring, documentation, and ongoing improvement of the platform are essential to maintain high standards of performance and security.
