Cloud Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design, implement, and operate a Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution based on Teleport to secure privileged access to Kubernetes clusters, databases, and servers.
• Build out a multi-cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (including AKS) and VMware vSphere using Terraform across multiple environments, ensuring scalability and stability.

What You'll Need

• Several years of relevant professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Cloud Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes, PAM, and infrastructure automation.
• A strong academic background in Computer Science, Information Security, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable STEM field; relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, Azure) are a plus.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, for effective communication in an international, technically demanding environment.
• An analytical, structured, and security-conscious approach to work, high self-responsibility, strong team and communication skills, and enthusiasm for modern, AI-supported engineering workflows in a dynamic setting.
