About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS Serverless technologies and TypeScript/Node.js to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modern cloud solutions that leverage AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. You will play a key part in creating scalable, event-driven architectures and building robust APIs and integrations across various systems.

Your expertise will help automate deployment processes through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like AWS CDK, ensuring high standards of code quality, testing, observability, and security. The position involves active engagement with AI development tools and coaching fellow developers on their effective use, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications

Multiple years of experience working with AWS Serverless architectures and TypeScript/Node.js

Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., AWS Cloud Development Kit - CDK)

Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and cloud engineering principles

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation in cloud environments

Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for collaboration with clients and team members

Fluent in German (verhandlungssicher) and proficient in English

Responsibilities

Develop modern cloud solutions on AWS utilizing Serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB

Design and implement scalable, event-driven system architectures

Create and maintain robust APIs and seamless system integrations

Automate deployment processes through Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks like AWS CDK

Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing, monitoring, and security practices

Integrate AI development tools and coding agents into daily workflows to enhance productivity

Mentor and coach other developers on best practices for AI integration and cloud development
