Hyra is working on behalf of DB Zeitarbeit to hire for the position of Data Engineer (w/m/d). This role involves the end-to-end development and operational management of data products for DB Fernverkehr AG. You will focus on building scalable data pipelines while ensuring high data quality and system optimization.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and optimizing batch and streaming data pipelines using SQL, Spark, and Kafka.
- Implementing data products from ingestion to monitoring within Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses.
- Orchestrating complex workflows with Airflow and preparing datasets for Power BI analytics.
- Managing technical operations including CVE resolution and stakeholder communication.
- Developing data warehousing artifacts and ensuring GDPR-compliant data anonymization.
What we're looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Professional experience in data engineering and operating within agile Scrum frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Scala Spark, Delta Lake, and workflow orchestration.
- Practical experience with streaming technologies and data protection requirements.
- Full professional proficiency in German and a collaborative, analytical mindset.
