Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Operate and continuously develop our existing migration tool to optimize migration processes
• Plan and execute complex migration projects in close coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure data integrity and security throughout the migration process
• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation measures to ensure a smooth and error-free transition
• Document and report the entire migration process and participate in on-call duty to ensure operations

What You'll Need

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
• Several years of practical experience in data migration
• Profound knowledge of SQL, MSSQL SSIS, and common migration tools
• Solid programming skills in Python
• Willingness to learn new technologies like JSON, Mirth, HL7, and our KIS
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills for complex migration scenarios
• Strong communication skills in German and English, coupled with teamwork, flexibility, and independent working style
