About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team and lead the development and evolution of our data platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing the target architecture of our data ecosystem, transitioning from traditional data warehouses to integrated solutions supporting reporting, business intelligence, and data science initiatives, including Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.

Your expertise will be crucial in modeling and implementing robust data models, developing efficient ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensuring data quality, governance, and security. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, ensuring the platform’s operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehouse design.
• Strong knowledge of relational, dimensional, and Data Vault modeling techniques.
• Extensive experience with ETL/ELT development and data pipeline automation.
• Familiarity with modern data platform components such as Data Lake, Lakehouse, and cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous platform enhancement.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop the target architecture of our data platform, encompassing Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse solutions.
• Design and model technically and business-wise sustainable data models, including relational, dimensional, and Data Vault models, and oversee central data models for core processes.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines to connect source systems efficiently, ensuring performance, robustness, and automation.
• Collaborate closely with business units to understand data requirements and guide the development of data-driven use cases from conception to production deployment.
• Ensure data quality, transparency, and compliance through effective governance practices, including metadata management, data lineage, and privacy regulations.
• Manage the operation, monitoring, and continuous enhancement of the data platform to meet evolving business needs.
• Stay updated with emerging data technologies and best practices, integrating innovations into the platform architecture.
