About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Data Quality Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of fund and asset master data within our systems.

Your primary focus will be conducting data quality checks for fund and asset data, as well as verifying user permissions within our order management system and other client-facing applications. You will play a key role in designing and implementing new data validation processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of data governance standards. Additionally, you will manage user administration for our core systems, providing first and second-level support to ensure seamless operation and user satisfaction.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a successfully completed university degree in economics, mathematics, computer science, or a comparable field. Extensive experience in the fund industry, coupled with in-depth knowledge of securities trading, types of securities, and trading methods, is essential.

You should have strong expertise in database structures, data analysis, and data processing, with a keen understanding of data quality requirements. Basic coding skills in Python are required to support automation and data validation tasks. The ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility, coupled with confident communication skills, is crucial.

Fluency in German and good command of English, both written and spoken, are necessary to effectively collaborate within our international team and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive data quality checks for fund and asset master data within our systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. You will verify user permissions and access rights in the order management system and other client applications, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Developing and implementing new data validation procedures to enhance data integrity and compliance will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will manage user administration tasks, including onboarding, support, and troubleshooting for the order management system and related applications. Providing first and second-level support to users, addressing technical issues, and ensuring smooth system operations are integral parts of your duties.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and contribute to the ongoing development of data quality standards and best practices.
