About The Role We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer / BI-Architect to join our dynamic team in Stuttgart. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our data pipelines, developing and optimizing our data and analysis platforms, and supporting our business intelligence initiatives.

Your expertise will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, ensuring data quality, and maintaining a robust data infrastructure that supports strategic decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience. You should have several years of professional experience in data engineering and BI architecture, with strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar Microsoft data ecosystem tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Power BI is essential. Familiarity with Jedox or other OLAP solutions, along with a solid understanding of data modeling principles, will be advantageous. Additionally, you should demonstrate analytical thinking, structured work habits, high reliability, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of ETL/ELT data pipelines, including source system integration, transformation, quality assurance, and delivery for analysis, planning, and reporting processes.
• Design and expand our central data and analytics platform based on Microsoft Fabric, integrating various components into a cohesive solution.
• Further develop our Jedox environment for planning and reporting, ensuring technical and functional enhancements.
• Develop and optimize relational SQL databases, administer our Azure cloud environment, and ensure high performance and reliability.
• Model our enterprise-wide Data Warehouse following Data Vault 2.0 principles, continuously enhancing its structure and capabilities.
• Collaborate with business units to analyze requirements and translate them into effective data models, data products, and reporting solutions.
• Ensure data quality, monitor performance, and maintain transparent documentation to support stable and efficient data operations.
