About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team and contribute to the development of modern data platforms in the cloud. In this role, you will work closely with experienced data professionals on diverse client projects, helping to design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the planning and execution of cloud data projects, developing data pipelines, and contributing to innovative data architectures. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a consulting environment, working on real-world data challenges using the latest technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and multi-cloud environments. Qualifications

• Completed university degree, vocational training, or comparable qualification in a relevant field.
• First practical experience through internships, working student positions, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in software development, particularly with Python, and solid understanding of SQL.
• Initial experience with data modeling and working with relational and non-relational data sources.
• Strong interest in multi-cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication skills in German, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring complex cloud-based data management solutions.
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of state-of-the-art data platforms and structures, leveraging technologies like Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
• Develop and implement robust data integration solutions and pipelines to unify data sources and facilitate comprehensive analytics.
• Support client consultations by providing expert advice and conducting workshops to analyze requirements and define optimal data architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data projects, adhering to best practices and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and cloud solutions.
