About The Role

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at our locations in Cologne and Stuttgart. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining state-of-the-art data platforms in cloud environments. Your expertise will enable our clients to harness the power of their data, transforming raw information into actionable insights.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to develop innovative data solutions, from building robust data pipelines to architecting scalable data architectures. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational background in IT or related fields, such as a completed university degree, vocational training, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL is essential, along with a strong understanding of data modeling and experience working with both relational and non-relational data sources. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is highly advantageous.

Candidates should demonstrate a high affinity for complex data structures, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in German. Prior experience in data integration, architecture, or analytics projects will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor complex data management solutions within cloud environments to ensure reliable and scalable data operations.
• Develop and optimize modern data architectures, including data warehouses and data lakes, utilizing tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, and dbt.
• Create robust data pipelines and integration solutions to seamlessly combine data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency for analytical purposes.
• Consult with clients to understand their data needs and conduct workshops to analyze requirements, propose effective data architecture strategies, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve data processes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, evaluating new tools and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
