Data Scientist

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

Develop and implement data science solutions across various business units, including medical technology, elevators, automotive, and product testing.
Design and refine end-to-end LLM solutions, focusing on conversational AI, prompt engineering, retrieval pipelines, and safety measures.
Monitor and enhance deployed solutions by evaluating quality, latency, and costs, analyzing user feedback, and resolving issues.
Collaborate within cross-functional, agile teams alongside data scientists, software developers, and subject matter experts.
Create prototypes, experiment with, and benchmark new approaches to data science challenges.
Identify trends in processing and acquiring unstructured data, including OCR, document analysis, and embeddings.

A completed degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience applying data science methodologies in a corporate or consulting setting.
Profound expertise in modern AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, and AI-driven business solutions.
Excellent Python skills for data science, coupled with a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
Outstanding communication abilities and the capacity to lead projects independently from inception to completion, including effective collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with information retrieval techniques, particularly Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), is advantageous.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps is a plus.
