Senior DevOps Engineer – Contract | Germany | Kubernetes & GitOps
Digisourced Ltd is supporting a client engagement and is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support the development and operation of a large-scale secure messaging and collaboration platform.

Role Overview
This role focuses on the design, automation, operation, and optimisation of containerised Kubernetes environments using modern GitOps and DevOps practices. You will support infrastructure modernisation, platform hardening, CI/CD optimisation, and secure cloud-native deployments.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Migrate legacy deployments to Kubernetes-based platforms
- Build and maintain development and test environments
- Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and related technologies
- Improve platform security, observability, and resilience
- Manage secrets, access controls, and infrastructure hardening
- Modernise and optimise GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Support container platforms and cloud-native application delivery
- Collaborate within agile delivery teams
✅ Required Experience
- Strong experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting
- Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container operations
- Experience with Bash and Python scripting
- Knowledge of SQL databases, web servers, and backend infrastructure
- Strong understanding of GitOps principles (ArgoCD, Crossplane)
- Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, and build automation
- Knowledge of Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and observability tooling
- Experience with REST APIs, TLS, and OIDC
- Strong understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, and code reviews
- Fluent German language skills
➕ Nice to Have
- Experience with application security and OWASP frameworks
- Exposure to macOS administration
- Experience working in highly regulated or security-focused environments
