The Role
- Take responsibility in exciting interurban projects and act as a direct contact person for customers
- Configure and parameterize complex traffic control systems and support the setup and maintenance of KRITIS-compliant infrastructure
- Accompany commissioning practically, take on tasks in ongoing operations, and strengthen 2nd-level support
- Commission systems on-site and carry out functional and interface tests in the overall system
- Take responsibility for the operational management of cooperative intelligent transport systems in the future fields of C-ITS and CCAM
- Participate in on-call duty on a rotational basis to ensure high system availability
What You'll Need
- Technical education in automation or systems engineering, or comparable qualification
- 4+ years of experience in operating, automating, and continuously developing complex IT system landscapes using modern DevOps practices
- Proficient in Windows and Linux environments, virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware or Proxmox), container technologies, and TCP/IP networks
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD architectures and experience in building and operating secure and efficient build and deployment pipelines
- Good scripting skills (e.g., Python or PowerShell) and experience with automation and monitoring tools like Grafana
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and desirable English language skills
