The Role
- Design and implement sophisticated cloud architectures for high-quality and sustainable software solutions.
- Ensure appropriate automation and seamless, auditable deployments and rollouts in collaboration with development and operations teams.
- Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management tools, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Enable reliable, secure, and cost-effective operation of software solutions through observability tools, hardening measures, and cost/resource management.
- Stay current with advancements in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, driving initiatives for continuous improvement by sharing knowledge across teams and communities.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team.
What You'll Need
- A degree in Computer Science or a comparable educational background.
- Excellent German and English language skills (C1 level) for clear communication.
- Proven practical experience in the described areas, with knowledge of various cloud DevOps ecosystem technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab.
- Strong commitment to quality and practical development experience in software projects, with a deep understanding of software architectures, security, observability, and cost-efficiency.
- A strong understanding of DevOps as a philosophy and culture, with a passion for continuous development within projects and through community engagement.
- Certifications for a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT) are a plus.
