DevOps Engineer A well-established business known for its innovation in large-scale European land systems is looking for an experienced technical professional to join the team in Munich. The successful candidate will oversee the evolution of simulation software infrastructure and ensure the stability of complex IT platforms within a collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to drive automation strategies and eventually transition into a functional leadership position for a specialized technical team.
What you'll be doing
- Design and maintain CI/CD build chains for simulation software across multiple generations
- Develop and optimize monitoring tools for large-scale simulation systems
- Drive the implementation of virtualization and automation solutions
- Ensure the availability and continuous development of internal IT systems and tools
- Coordinate sprint planning and reviews while mentoring a team of technical specialists
What we're looking for
- Degree in a scientific field or a comparable technical qualification
- Extensive experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and server administration
- Proficiency with GitLab, Docker, Jenkins, VMware, and Hyper-V
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain required security clearances for sensitive projects
