We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at Mittwald. In this role, you will be integral to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Kubernetes-based hosting platform. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust infrastructure that ensures our web hosting products operate seamlessly and efficiently.
You will work closely with other DevOps professionals and cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, automate processes, and improve system stability and performance. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies such as Go, Linux, Helm, and Prometheus, and to contribute to a platform used by a diverse range of clients including developers and agencies. Your work will directly impact the reliability and scalability of our hosting services, and you will have the chance to grow your expertise in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration. Hands-on experience with Linux server environments, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools is essential. You should have a passion for automation, scripting, and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Opsgenie is highly desirable. A proactive mindset, curiosity for new technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are key. Prior experience with open-source projects or working in a DevOps environment will be advantageous.
