About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for further developing and maintaining our AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. You will play a pivotal role in designing multi-account setups, managing network configurations, and optimizing our EKS environments.

Your expertise will help us implement robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Terragrunt, and ensure our systems are resilient through effective monitoring, alerting, and backup strategies. Additionally, you will contribute to building a ISO 27001-compliant infrastructure, supporting our security posture, and enhancing developer experience through reliable tooling and pipelines. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence a product that is pioneering in the legal tech space, with a focus on transparency, trust, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung (+ 5 Jahre) mit AWS (idealerweise Multi-Account) und Infrastructure as Code, vor allem Terraform mit Terragrunt
• Erfahrung mit CI/CD und GitOps (z. B. GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), IAM und Least Privilege
• Erfahrung mit Autoscaling in der Praxis mit Kubernetes
• Kenntnisse in Monitoring, Audit-Trails und Backup-Konzepten
• Erfahrung mit AI-assisted Coding und die Bereitschaft, solche Tools im Arbeitsalltag gezielt einzusetzen
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

Responsibilities

• Weiterentwicklung unserer AWS-Umgebung mit Terraform und Terragrunt, inklusive Multi-Account-Setup, Netzwerkarchitektur, Datenschicht und EKS
• Betreiben und Optimieren unserer CI/CD-Pipelines mit GitHub Actions, sowie Verbesserung der Automatisierungsprozesse
• Effiziente Anpassung der Infrastruktur an die aktuelle Last durch Autoscaling, mit Fokus auf Kostentransparenz und Vermeidung von Überprovisionierung
• Mitgestaltung und Verantwortlichkeit für die Skalierung und Stabilität unserer Agent Runtime und des Ingestors, der Dokumente ausliest
• Implementierung von Monitoring, Alerting und Backup-Lösungen, um Störungen frühzeitig zu erkennen und zu beheben
• Verantwortung für die Developer Experience durch Gestaltung von Tooling, Entwicklungsumgebungen, Pipelines und Release-Prozessen, um schnelle, sichere und reibungslose Lieferungen zu gewährleisten
• Aufbau einer ISO 27001-zertifizierbaren Infrastruktur und Unterstützung bei der Beantwortung von Security-Fragebögen unserer Kunden
