Finance Associate

• *Finance Associate - Berlin hybrid - up to €75,000**

I’m working with a fast-growing SaaS business that is scaling rapidly and looking to bring in a Finance Associate to work directly alongside the founder.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll play a key part in building and shaping the finance function from the ground up, with a strong focus on automation, process improvement, and strategic finance.

You’ll be joining at an exciting stage of growth, with the business scaling headcount and revenue quickly, and finance becoming a core driver of decision-making across the company.

• *What you’ll be doing:**
• Working closely with the founder as their right hand in finance, supporting strategic decision making
• Taking ownership of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Monitoring KPIs, cash flow, and liquidity, providing clear insights and recommendations
• Building and improving finance processes, with a focus on automation (e.g. Zapier, n8n)
• Creating reports, dashboards, and investor-ready materials
• Supporting the introduction and adoption of new finance tools and systems
• Acting as the go-to person for finance across the business, partnering with teams like Sales, Product, and Customer Success
• Managing relationships with external partners (accountants, auditors, banks)
• *What they’re looking for:**
• 1–2 years’ experience in a finance-related role (e.g. audit, IB, corporate finance, startup)
• Strong skills in Excel / Google Sheets
• Exposure to finance tools (e.g. Stripe, DATEV or similar) is a plus
• Any experience with automation tools is beneficial
• A proactive, hands-on mindset with a genuine interest in building and improving processes
• Fluent German and strong English
