About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming the company's frontend architecture, migrating from LitElements to Angular, and ensuring the seamless integration of UI components with backend systems. You will work closely with UX designers to create intuitive, user-centric interfaces that enhance the operational efficiency of dispatchers and other end-users.

Additionally, you will contribute to the development of harnesses for Agentic Software Engineering, focusing on workflows, prompts, and guardrails to facilitate the deployment of AI-generated code into production environments. When necessary, you will also engage with backend development, providing a holistic approach to software solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of logistics software and participate in cutting-edge technological advancements.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess several years of solid experience in frontend development, particularly with Angular and TypeScript. A strong understanding of reactive programming principles, especially with RxJS, is essential.

Experience with frontend testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, is required to ensure high-quality deliverables. Candidates should also have backend development experience with Java or Kotlin and be eager to contribute beyond their core expertise. A keen eye for user experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers are vital.

Familiarity with Angular Material or similar component libraries is advantageous. Knowledge of cloud-native development, especially with AWS and Kubernetes, is preferred.

Experience with international rollouts, multi-tenant architectures, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) will be considered a plus. Proficiency in German, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities include designing and executing the migration of frontend components from LitElements to Angular, ensuring a scalable and maintainable architecture. You will develop user interfaces that meet the needs of dispatchers, working closely with UX teams to deliver visually appealing and functional designs. You will participate in creating harnesses for Agentic Software Engineering, focusing on workflows, prompts, and guardrails to support AI-generated code deployment.

When required, you will engage with backend systems, contributing to API integrations and server-side logic. Additionally, you will implement and uphold frontend testing strategies to guarantee robust and reliable applications. Collaborating across teams, you will help shape the future role of developers within the organization and contribute to innovative software development practices.
