About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our Travian: Legends team. This role is ideal for a passionate professional who excels in frontend development, has a strong affinity for gaming, and enjoys working in a creative and fast-paced environment. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality frontend code, collaborating closely with UX/UI designers, and contributing to the technical and aesthetic refinement of our game.

Your expertise will help shape the player experience, ensuring it is both visually appealing and technically robust. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly talented team dedicated to delivering exceptional gaming experiences.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have several years of professional experience in frontend development, particularly with complex web applications. Proficiency in HTML, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and Webpack is essential. Optional skills such as Docker are a plus.

A solid understanding of UX/UI principles and experience translating designs from tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe XD into functional components are required. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, enabling them to evaluate design feasibility and provide constructive feedback. Fluency in both German and English, along with a proactive and collaborative mindset, is necessary.

Experience with animations and transitions would be advantageous, reflecting a keen eye for detail and user engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the frontend codebase for Travian: Legends, implementing new features and technical components using JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and Webpack.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to evaluate design concepts, ensuring technical feasibility and optimal user experience.
• Translate visual designs and Figma prototypes into high-quality, reusable, and maintainable frontend components.
• Conduct testing of applications and new features, identify and resolve bugs, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, development workflows, and technical solutions, introducing suitable tools and techniques.
• Contribute ideas and solutions to the project team, supporting agile processes and project management efforts.
• Stay updated on the latest frontend technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the development process.
