Role Description
We are looking for a freelance Full-Stack Android Developer to contribute to the continued development and technical growth of the SanukGo platform.The role involves developing and maintaining the Android application using Kotlin, while also contributing to backend services built with Java and Spring Boot. You will work on features related to ride booking, courier services, real-time location tracking, user and rider management, payments, notifications, maps, and API communication.
Responsibilities also include improving application performance and usability, maintaining REST APIs and database integrations, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to the scalability, security, and stability of the overall platform.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Android application development using Kotlin and/or Java
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development
- Good understanding of REST APIs, client-server communication, authentication, and JSON-based data exchange
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB
- Familiarity with GPS, maps, location services, or real-time data processing is highly beneficial
- Experience with Git, testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Understanding of scalable and secure application architecture
- Ability to develop clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to user experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other contributors and stakeholders
- Experience with mobility, ride-hailing, logistics, delivery, or location-based applications is a strong advantage
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is beneficial, although strong practical experience is equally valued
