About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at mykori. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the entire technical landscape of our platform, shaping its architecture, scalability, and feature set.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and enhance our core functionalities, from the database layer to the user interface, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and end-users. As a key technical leader, you will collaborate closely with the product team, particularly with our product manager Tim, to translate business and customer needs into robust technical solutions. You will be instrumental in transitioning our platform into a high-performance, tailored in-house architecture, setting standards for code quality, system scalability, and technological innovation.
This role offers the opportunity to influence the future of regional funding technology, working on impactful projects that directly contribute to community development and social good.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full-stack web development, with extensive experience designing, building, and scaling complex applications. You should have a proven track record of managing product development end-to-end, demonstrating ownership and responsibility for the entire lifecycle.
A solid understanding of modern frameworks such as React and Node.js, along with expertise in database design and data management, is essential. You should be comfortable making strategic technical decisions and have a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including founders and product managers, are crucial.

Responsibilities Operational: End-to-End Responsibility for the Technical Aspects of the Product
- Develop and enhance core functionalities of the platform, including CRM systems, form editors, and the flexible workflow builder, ensuring they meet user needs and technical standards.
- Implement rapid iterations based on customer feedback, deploying updates and optimizations swiftly to improve user experience and system performance.
- Focus on UI/UX design from the user's perspective, ensuring complex processes remain intuitive and accessible for banking clients and end-users.
- Design and implement scalable system architecture, choosing appropriate modern technologies such as React, Node.js, or similar frameworks to support future growth.
- Structure and optimize data models, ensuring efficient, secure, and high-performance data management within a demanding banking environment.
- Collaborate closely with the founders and product team, translating business requirements into technical solutions and driving technological innovation as the Technical Owner.
- Maximal creative freedom to shape the company's technical direction and set the standards for future development, working closely with founders and key stakeholders.

- Remote-first working environment, allowing flexibility to work from your preferred location, with regular team days in Bielefeld (approximately three times per quarter) for personal interaction.
