We are working with an innovative medium-sized company focusing on the energy sector. They are a leading IT service provider that enables companies to enter and actively participate in the energy market for grid-bound energies, including electricity, gas, and alternative/renewable energies. They offer comprehensive services for energy market processes, IT and communication processes, clearing, and customer service, providing access to a future-oriented market.
The Role
- Optimise and maintain PostgreSQL databases
- Develop business logic within databases using PL/pgSQL
- Maintain existing PL/pgSQL procedures
- Develop and support web applications based on C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js
- Participate in agile project teams from feature planning to testing and go-live
- Serve as the first point of contact for the support team regarding technical questions
What You'll Need
- Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
- Proficient in PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Experience with PL/pgSQL or comparable procedural database languages
- Experience in Linux environments
- Excellent German and English skills (minimum B2 level)
- Independent, structured work style with a hands-on mentality
