About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) to join our innovative team at Haufe Group. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in scaling our core products and enhancing the user experience for over 450,000 small and micro-enterprises in Germany. Your primary focus will be on developing new workflows and processes that simplify transaction management for our customers, ensuring they can operate efficiently and with confidence.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to challenge existing approaches and pioneer new solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess several years of professional experience in building modern backend systems using Spring Boot and Java. A strong understanding of frontend frameworks such as React, TypeScript, and Material UI is essential to deliver seamless, user-friendly interfaces. You should have solid expertise in working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and be comfortable navigating cloud environments, particularly AWS.

Experience with data migration, database optimization, and AI-native engineering is highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills in German (minimum C2 level) to effectively bridge development, product management, and UX teams. A proactive mindset, collaborative spirit, and a passion for innovative technology are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of product features and development processes, actively shaping requirements during discovery, delivery, and iteration phases.
• Design, develop, and maintain a scalable microservice architecture that ensures reliable communication between services and supports future growth.
• Drive the integration of agentic AI and automation workflows, embedding intelligent solutions into our core products to enable smarter business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define technical strategies, evaluate new tools, and implement best practices for scalable software development.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to foster a high-performance development environment.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of innovative projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable insights.
