About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at Haufe Group. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in scaling our product offerings and enhancing the user experience for thousands of small and micro-enterprises across Germany.

Your expertise will drive the development of new workflows and processes that simplify order management and improve overall operational transparency for our clients. Working closely with a newly forming team, you will challenge existing approaches and pioneer innovative solutions, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of technological advancement. Your contributions will directly influence the seamlessness of our customer journeys, from initial engagement to final transaction, ultimately fostering higher customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess several years of professional experience in modern backend and frontend development, with a strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot. Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Material UI is essential, demonstrating your ability to craft intuitive and responsive user interfaces. You should have solid knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and be comfortable working within cloud environments such as AWS.

Experience with data migration, database optimization, and AI-native engineering is highly desirable, reflecting your capacity to handle complex data-driven projects. Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C2 level) are required to facilitate effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you should demonstrate a proactive mindset, a passion for innovation, and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the development and scaling of our product features, actively shaping requirements during discovery and delivery phases.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of a modern microservice architecture, ensuring seamless communication between services and supporting scalability goals.
• Lead the integration of AI and automation workflows into our products, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other developers, to define technical requirements and implement innovative solutions.
• Evaluate and select new tools, frameworks, and approaches to ensure our technology stack remains cutting-edge and scalable.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold high-quality standards.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
