About The Role SEW-EURODRIVE is looking for a colleague to help develop, operate, and continuously improve modern web applications. In this role, you will contribute to digital solutions that support users and business processes across the organization.

You will work with colleagues to understand requirements, turn them into practical applications, and help ensure that services remain reliable, accessible, and maintainable throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders from the initial discussion of a requirement through implementation, testing, release, and ongoing operation. You will also help identify opportunities to improve existing applications, workflows, and development practices.

Qualifications You have completed relevant studies, vocational training, or gained equivalent professional experience in software development, web technologies, computer science, or a related field. You bring practical experience developing or maintaining web applications and are comfortable contributing to software throughout its development and operational lifecycle.

A sound understanding of common web development principles, including application structure, user experience, data handling, and testing, will help you succeed.

You work in a structured and dependable way, take ownership of assigned tasks, and value clear, maintainable solutions. You are curious about new technologies and willing to keep learning as tools and requirements evolve. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are important, as the role involves coordinating with colleagues and translating needs into technical outcomes. Professional proficiency in English is required; German language skills are an advantage.

Experience working in an international or industrial setting is welcome.

Responsibilities Develop, operate, and enhance modern web applications in line with user needs and organizational requirements. Work with stakeholders to clarify objectives, assess requirements, and propose practical implementation approaches. Contribute to application design and development, and help ensure that solutions are reliable, secure, usable, and maintainable.

Test changes, investigate issues, and support the resolution of defects in existing applications. Participate in releases and ongoing operations, helping to monitor application performance and respond to operational needs. Review existing functionality and recommend improvements to usability, quality, and efficiency.

Maintain clear technical documentation and share knowledge with colleagues. Collaborate across teams, communicate progress and potential risks, and contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and digital services.
