About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Localization team at United States Digital Space LLC. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of building and enhancing our localization systems that ensure our products are accessible and usable across diverse markets and languages. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale globally by automating processes, improving system scalability, and integrating localization workflows seamlessly into our technology stack.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, meaningful projects with autonomy and scope for innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Web and Mobile, CMS, CRM, and Marketing—to develop solutions that support content translation, quality assurance, and automation. Additionally, you will explore emerging AI and language technologies to future-proof our localization infrastructure, ensuring compliance with evolving standards and regulations.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend engineering, with proficiency in Go or equivalent languages such as Python, Rust, or C++.

Experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs within microservices or distributed systems environments is essential. Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL and event streaming tools such as Kafka is required. You should possess the ability to translate business priorities from non-technical stakeholders into well-scoped, shippable engineering solutions.

Comfort operating independently across complex, fragmented system landscapes is vital, especially when working within architecture owned by other teams. Exposure to frontend frameworks like React.js and languages such as Typescript is advantageous. Additionally, experience working with translation management systems (TMS) or localizing web and mobile applications will be highly valued.

Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for innovation and automation in localization processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize localization solutions across various platforms including product, CMS, CRM, marketing, and design systems to facilitate faster content movement without compromising quality. Enhance the localization management platform to provide greater visibility and control, reducing manual intervention and streamlining workflows. Embed automated language and quality checks at multiple stages of the localization process to identify and resolve issues proactively before reaching production.

Improve the overall experience for developers, designers, marketers, and content teams by ensuring localization solutions align with their processes and workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Web and Mobile, Website, and Communication Platforms to enable comprehensive localization capabilities across the entire technology stack. Explore innovative AI and language technologies to enhance and future-proof our localization infrastructure, ensuring compliance with international standards and evolving regulations.
