Full Stack Engineer (Go, Angular, Kubernetes)

Location: Berlin, Germany

This Full Stack Engineer role involves developing scalable software systems to streamline operations, reduce costs, and solve complex engineering challenges at a high-scale manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale full stack applications using Go for backend services, Angular for intuitive frontends, and Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical specifications, architecture design for fault-tolerant distributed systems, and collaboration with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Build tools, automation frameworks, test suites, and documentation; integrate observability with tools like Prometheus; optimize for performance, scalability, and multi-tenancy in cloud platforms.
• Own end-to-end features from conception to production, including APIs, dashboards, CI/CD pipelines, and lifecycle management of resources like compute, storage, and networking.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong software fundamentals (design, algorithms, data structures, modularity).
• Hands-on experience with Go (Golang) for backend development; Angular/TypeScript/React for frontend; Kubernetes/Docker for deployment and orchestration.
• Proficiency in SQL/relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL); familiarity with distributed systems, stream processing (e.g., Kafka), and debugging complex systems.
• Full professional proficiency in English (German a plus); proven ability to thrive in high-impact, fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization (VMware, LXD), Next.js/NestJS, or AI/LLM integration.
• Background in manufacturing software, factory automation, or high-scale enterprise systems.
