About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Fullstack Java Developer (m/w/d) with a focus on Java EE to join our Application Development Composites department. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of applications within an agile environment, primarily focusing on the composite sector.

Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with Product Owners to understand requirements, translate them into user stories, and coordinate with Fachbereiche (specialist departments) to implement solutions effectively. You will also play a vital role in refining our agile processes and methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency within your team.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in (Wirtschafts-)Informatik or a comparable qualification, complemented by relevant professional experience. You should have extensive experience in Java development, especially with Java and Jakarta EE frameworks.

Familiarity with modern development tools and technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, and Selenium is essential. Practical knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, including hybrid approaches, is required. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for daily work activities is expected.

While not mandatory, experience with Cobol, SQL, or Mainframe technologies is advantageous. The candidate must demonstrate high reliability, excellent communication skills, and a strong team-oriented mindset. Fluency in German, at least at C1 level, is necessary to ensure effective collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include developing and maintaining applications independently within an agile framework, with a specific focus on the composite sector. You will translate business and technical requirements into user stories, ensuring clear communication and understanding across teams.

Collaborating closely with Product Owners and Fachbereiche, you will ensure the optimal implementation of solutions, balancing technical feasibility with business needs. You will actively participate in the continuous improvement of agile processes, contributing to the refinement of workflows, tools, and methodologies. Additionally, you will be involved in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
