We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Fullstack Java Developer (m/w/d) with a specialization in Java EE to join our Application Development team focused on composite insurance solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for independently developing and maintaining applications within an agile framework, with a particular emphasis on the composite insurance domain. You will collaborate closely with product owners and business units to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure their successful implementation. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies, supporting the company's mission to deliver cutting-edge IT services to the public insurance sector. The ideal candidate holds a completed degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification, complemented by relevant professional experience. You possess extensive experience in Java development, particularly with Java and Jakarta EE technologies. Practical knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, including hybrid approaches, is required. You should be proficient in Jira and Confluence for daily work routines. Experience with legacy technologies such as Cobol, SQL, or mainframe systems is advantageous but not mandatory. The role demands high reliability, excellent communication skills, and a strong team-oriented mindset. Fluency in German at least at C1 level is necessary to ensure effective collaboration and communication within the team and with stakeholders.
